How does ThermiSmooth work?
THERMISMOOTH FACE non-invasive procedure that uses radio frequency to heat the skin and stimulate natural production of collagen. It uses a unique hand-held piece to deliver targeted heating in a controlled manner to maximize patient comfort. The collagen under the skin will shrink when sustained heat is applied above 40 degrees Celsius. This initiates a process where the skin begins to tighten and the effects of aging are reduced, improving over-all quality and appearance.
What happens during ThermiSmooth treatments?
A small amount of gel is first applied to the area of the skin’s surface in the treatment area. A specific target temperature is set and the hand piece is moved across the treatment area gently in a sweeping or circular pattern. The whole session last about 30 minutes.
How many ThermiSmooth treatments will I need?
Treatments are repeated several times and the exact number will be determined by you and your doctor.
What areas can be treated with ThermiSmooth?
ThermiSmooth can treat many different areas of the face and is well suited for under the eyes, around the mouth, forehead and neck.
How soon will I see results after ThermiSmooth treatments?
Most patients begin to see results after the first treatment, and typically 3 treatments are necessary to archive optimal results – with full results developing over 3 months. Maintenance of one treatment a year is recommended.
